Volunteering is within the very fabric of our city. A single act of service supports not only our personal wellbeing but also the wellbeing of our community. When volunteering is thriving, our community is stronger, safer, better connected and more active.

The State of Volunteering in the ACT Report 2024 showed that 75% of ACT residents volunteer, contributing 63 million hours of volunteering.

At our Volunteering Expo more than 50 organisations will be ready to chat with you about finding your ideal volunteering role. Our exhibitors are from all sectors including sport, health, arts and culture, tourism, community services and many more!

Entry is free for all visitors. There will be food and coffee vendors, live music, free face-painting, games and much more!
