DESCRIPTION:Volunteering Conference 2024  \nThe Volunteering Conference is our annual event organised during National Volunteer Week.  \nThe event aims to build capability\, foster collaboration\, and spark inspiration within the volunteering ecosystem.  \nJoin us to learn about inclusion in volunteering\, the status of the ACT Volunteering Strategy\, national standards\, and more!  \n\nVenue: Ann Harding Conference Centre\, 24 University Dr S\, Bruce ACT 2617\nDate: Tuesday\, 21 May 2024\nTime: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM\nEvent program \n\nEvent accessibility  \nVolunteeringACT is committed to providing fully accessible events. The Conference venue is fully wheelchair-accessible\, with Auslan interpreters for the entire program. \nAccessible parking spots are also available at the venue. Don’t hesitate to contact us with any specific accessibility requests at 02 6251 4060 or events@volunteeringact.org.au.  \nPlease note we accept companion cards. \nVolunteer scholarships  \nA limited number of scholarships are available for volunteers willing to attend the Conference. Each scholarship covers the full cost of attending the conference. \nTo apply\, please fill out the application form. Applicants will be notified of the selection panel’s decision via email. Applications have now closed.  \nRegistration conditions \nThe last date to register is Monday\, 13 May\, via events@volunteeringact.org.au. Please be advised that any tickets purchased from Friday\, 10 May\, may not be able to cater to dietary requirements. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.  \nVolunteering Expo 2024  \nThe Volunteering Expo is a fun and interactive event for the Canberra community to find their next volunteering role. It is a free event for visitors.  \nExhibitor registrations are open until Monday\, 13 May. More details are available here.
