DESCRIPTION:VolunteeringACT is pleased to host our final online networking event of the year.\nDate – Monday 12 August\nTime – 10am – 11am\nLocation – Online [Microsoft Teams}\nTheme – Funding & Grants \nOur monthly networking events aim to provide a platform for professionals in the volunteering sector to come together\, share information and updates\, and openly discuss current challenges we are facing\, as we continue to adapt our volunteer programs in these ever-changing circumstances. The networking event will be hosted via Microsoft Teams by the VolunteeringACT Team\, and is completely free to attend.\nA meeting link will be sent to all registered attendees prior to the session. \nThe theme this month is: Funding & Grants \nWe will be joined by Katie Kennedy\, who will talk us through the launch of the new SARC Grants program. \nWe will discuss: \n\nGrant and funding opportunities\nAvailable tools and resources for applying for grants\nUsing volunteers to support grant applications
