DESCRIPTION:Online Consultation: Inquiry into barriers and opportunities for participation in community sports in the ACT \nThe ACT Government is currently conducting an Inquiry into the barriers and opportunities for participation in community sport across the ACT. Volunteers are the backbone of community sport\, playing a critical role in keeping clubs operating and players on the field. However\, many sporting organisations continue to face significant challenges in volunteer engagement\, which has yet to recover from the decline experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic. \nVolunteeringACT is preparing a submission to this important Inquiry\, focusing on the role of volunteering in community sport.
