This workshop will provide you with the skills to remove the barriers to volunteering and provide you with the tools to help people find meaningful volunteering opportunities.  You will be challenged to consider the benefits that can be unlocked through volunteering\, including a stronger sense of social inclusion in your workplace. DESCRIPTION:  \nDate: Saturday 22 May 2021\nTime: 10am – 4pm\nLocation: Exhibition Hall\, Thoroughbred Park\, Randwick Road\, Lyneham ACT \n  \nVolunteeringACT is hosting the 2021 Volunteering Expo on Saturday 22 May during National Volunteer Week.  \nThe 2021 Volunteering Expo offers a space for individuals to meet with a diverse range of volunteer involving organisations to find out more about volunteering in the Canberra region.  \nThe Expo attracts a diverse range of exhibitors from all sectors\, including community services\, environment\, sport\, tourism\, arts\, and education. The event will provide a great day out for everyone\, with food vans\, fresh coffee\, and live entertainment.  \nCome along to find out all about how you can get involved in your community! \nWhat can you expect at the 2021 Volunteering Expo? \n\nUp to 50 exhibitors\nA Volunteer Referral Hub for help with finding the right volunteering role \nLive entertainment and organisations presenting on their volunteering opportunities\nFood vans and fresh coffee\n\nHow can you register to attend? \nAttendance at the Expo is completely free; and you will need to register for a ticket. \nAttendance will be ticketed against two time slots to help staff manage attendance numbers on the day: \nMorning Session: 10am – 1pm \nAfternoon Session: 1pm – 4pm \nWalk-ins on the event day are accepted and can register at the check-in tent.  \nRegister your attendance now!  \nWant to share that you will be attending the 2021 Volunteering Expo?
