DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce that the 2026 Volunteering Conference will be held during the National Volunteer Week (18 – 24 May). \n\nDate – Tuesday\, 19 May 2026\nTime – 9am – 5pm (registration starts at 8.30am)\nLocation – Ann Harding Conference Centre OR Online\nRead the program (updated on Tuesday\, 5 May 2026)\n\nOur annual Volunteering Conference is a full day of professional development for leaders in the volunteering sector. It builds capability\, fosters collaboration\, and sparks inspiration within the volunteering ecosystem. The theme for National Volunteer Week 2026 and this year’s Conference is ‘Your Year to Volunteer’. It aligns with the United Nations declaration of 2026 as the International Year of Volunteers for Sustainable Development\, recognising the vital role volunteers play in building sustainable\, inclusive communities worldwide. \nThe momentum has never been stronger. Join VolunteeringACT at the 2026 Volunteering Conference to level up your volunteer programs!  \nEVENT ACCESSIBILITY  \n\nThe 2026 Volunteering Conference venue (Ann Harding Conference Centre) is wheelchair accessible and offers accessible parking. \nSessions can be supported by Auslan interpreters – must be advised in advance. \n\nPLEASE NOTE \n\nThe Conference program may change without notice.\nRegistrations for the event close 5pm\, Thursday\, 14 May 2026.\nWe will endeavour to accommodate all dietary requirements\, but requests made for last minute registrations cannot be guaranteed due to catering deadlines.\n\nIf you have any questions or concerns\, please let us know via call on 02 6251 4060 or email at events@volunteeringact.org.au.
