Creating Safe Spaces for Volunteers – with Mental Illness Education ACT (MIEACT)

With the addition of psycho-social hazards to the WHS Act, this session aims to support volunteer managers to:
– Build safe environments for volunteers
– Recognise when and how to identify psycho-social hazards
– Debrief volunteers and
– Look after their own mental health.
This training will align the DO NO HARM framework with the Volunteer Management Cycle and touch on how to support volunteers from onboarding to exiting.
