Weary Dunlop Information Briefing Session 1
24/08/2022 @ 5:00 pm - 5:30 pm
| FreeDo you have a project in your organisation that needs volunteers?
VolunteeringACT partners with the Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) each year to deliver the Weary Dunlop Activity.
The Weary Dunlop Activity is a large-scale volunteering activity that sees first-year Training Officers contributing their time to the Canberra community. Through this experience, Training Officers gain a deeper understanding of the lived experience in our community and how people are supported through volunteering and community services. This partnership provides community organisations with an opportunity to boost their volunteering power for a day and tackle projects with teams of volunteers.
This year, the Weary Dunlop Activity will be held from Thursday 13 October to Friday 14 October 2022.
Projects can include anything from refreshing your office gardens, donation sorting, providing conversation to community members, to technical support.
