Individual Membership Application Form

This form is for new Individual Members engaging with VolunteeringACT. This form can be completed before or after membership payment has been processed through the website, or via invoice. Individual membership is aimed at anyone wishing to show personal support for volunteering, inclusion, and community engagement initiatives, and join a community of like-minded people. It is not a requirement to be a VolunteeringACT individual member to access advice and support on volunteering, apply for volunteer roles with any organisation in the Canberra Region, or contribute to our policy, advocacy, and peak body work. If you are a staff member from a Volunteer Involving Organisation, we recommend you discuss membership options with your organisation rather than becoming an individual member, as organisational membership benefits are different – and more expansive – than what is available through individual membership. Note: For your application to be accepted by VolunteeringACT it must be accompanied by the appropriate membership fee. This fee can be paid via the website before or after completing this form, or you can pay via invoice from VolunteeringACT. All applications must be endorsed by VolunteeringACT's board. Once you have been endorsed, you will receive a notification. If you are not endorsed, your fee will be refunded.
