We are excited to announce the winners of the 2024 Volunteer Manager of the Year Awards. This event is held annually to recognise and celebrate volunteer managers in the Canberra Region and is held in connection with International Volunteer Managers Day, celebrated on 5 November.

Volunteer managers are often the unsung heroes of volunteer involvement, without whom volunteering opportunities, projects and programs could not exist. To every volunteer manager out there, thank you for your unwavering commitment, your adaptability and your leadership.

This year’s ceremony was held during the Volunteer Leaders Seminar on Thursday 7 November 2024 at the Youth Coalition of the ACT.

Congratulations to the winners, highly commended and nominees for enabling safe and effective volunteering!
