We are the peak body for volunteers and volunteering in the Canberra Region.  

We deliver inclusive services and information that connect people with their community and enables participation. We lead the design and delivery of high quality, safe, ethical and sustainable volunteering. 

VolunteeringACT has a vision of an inclusive Canberra that values volunteering and connection as central to wellbeing and a thriving community.  

We work to represent, support, and celebrate volunteers, volunteer involving organisations, and the wider volunteer community in the Canberra Region. We seek new ways of supporting the volunteering sector to grow, improve, and collaborate, helping to ensure that all Canberrans have access to meaningful, safe, and inclusive volunteering opportunities.

VolunteeringACT is a people-driven, service-focused organisation that represents the interests of over 200 members, advocates for and supports volunteers and volunteer involving organisations and engages with the broader Canberra community. Through our activities, we improve inclusivity, enable sustainable volunteering, and create a more resilient Canberra.
