This full day workshop covers theory and practice on the volunteer management cycle: from planning for the involvement of volunteers, to their recruitment and ongoing management, supervision and recognition. You will be introduced to legal requirements underpinning volunteer involvement, as well as research and theory on volunteer motivations. Practical tools are provided, and time is allocated for you to begin using these tools in preparation for implementing them in your workplace. Morning tea and light lunch provided.
