ABOUT THE EVENT

2026 is the International Year of Volunteers for Sustainable Development. Our Volunteering Expo is part of this global momentum, recognising volunteering as the driving force for sustainable development. Our annual Volunteering Expo is the leading exhibition for volunteer involving organisations in the ACT and region, where exhibitors connect with Canberra’s enthusiastic volunteers and potential volunteers who are eager to make a difference.

Any organisation that utilises volunteers and seeks to attract more is invited to participate.

• Time: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM

The Expo welcomes all community organisations, not-for-profits, government agencies and social enterprises from all sectors including but not limited to sport, health, arts and culture, tourism and community services. There will be amazing food and coffee, activities for children, music and a smoking ceremony, making this event suitable for families.

The Expo is a free event for attendees, open to all people and organisations interested in volunteering. It attracts people from diverse backgrounds and all ages and abilities. We encourage you to showcase volunteering opportunities that are accessible for everyone.

Exhibitor registrations for the 2026 Volunteering Expo will close Friday, 13 March 2026.

EXHIBITOR PACKAGES

There are two packages available to choose from: 

1 – Standard exhibitor package

• 1 x exhibitor space  
• 1 x table and 2 x chairs  
• 2 x venue pre-paid parking permits 
• Exhibitor marketing kit 
• Organisation listing on the event website  
• Promotion via VolunteeringACT newsletter, social media and media partner  
• Opportunity to display your banners, flyers and registration forms at the event
• Direct engagement with potential volunteer attendees throughout the event  
• Opportunity to network with other volunteer involving organisations in the Canberra Region 

Price for the standard exhibitor package 

• VolunteeringACT members: $185 
• Non-members of VolunteeringACT: $335 

2 – Special package

Special package is available for VolunteeringACT members only to exhibit at the 2026 Volunteering Expo as well as attend our 2026 Volunteering Conference in May during National Volunteer Week.  The Conference is a full day of professional development for leaders in the volunteering sector. It builds capability, fosters collaboration, and sparks inspiration within the volunteering ecosystem.  Read about the 2025 Volunteering Conference on our website.  

The special package benefits include:  

• All benefits of the standard Expo exhibitor package
• 2 x attendee tickets for the 2026 Volunteering Conference

EXHIBITOR REGISTRATION PROCESS

Organisations interested in exhibiting at the 2026 Volunteering Expo must complete following two steps

1. Complete the exhibitor registration form and
2. Pay for the stall by selecting the desired package below

EXHIBITOR PARKING AT THE VENUE

Please note, each exhibitor ticket (standard exhibitor ticket or special package ticket) includes 2 x parking permits for 2026 Volunteering Expo.

• These permits are only valid for the 2026 Volunteering Expo. Parking for the 2026 Volunteering Conference (for organisations paying for special package) needs to be paid by attendees.
• These permits are single use permits only. You cannot re-enter or exit once the pass is submitted in the exit gate machine.
• Exhibitors can purchase more parking permits during the registration process if required. VolunteeringACT cannot provide tickets on the day; pre-purchased tickets need to be arranged in advance if organisations wish to pay for parking. The UC parking machines do not provide parking receipts.
