Hall & Wilcox
Hall & Wilcox are a pre-eminent independent business law firm committed to enable their clients and communities to thrive.
As part of their membership benefits, VolunteeringACT organisational Members can apply for pro bono assistance for a range of legal matters.
For our organisational members to be eligible to receive pro bono assistance from Hall & Wilcox, the work must:
- seek to benefit disadvantaged and marginalised individuals, or the not-for-profit and community organisations that support them; or
- raise an issue of public interest or broad community concern.
The firm must have the expertise to assist in the matter and the lawyers must have the capacity to take the matter.
Potential conflicts of interest will also be taken into account. Some of the firm’s clients include large banking and financial corporations, insurers and State Government Departments. We may experience conflicts of interest with these clients.
