The Program supports people with disability or mental health conditions to find a volunteer role in the ACT and surrounding area as a pathway to employment.
The aim of the Program is for participants to learn new skills, gain confidence in new environments and eventually use these skills to work towards future employment. The Program does not place participants in paid employment positions and cannot guarantee paid employment during or at the end of the Program.
Our Program Coordinators work closely with each participant to understand their goals and provide guidance as each participant learns new skills and gains experience and confidence through volunteering. In doing so, the Program supports participants every step of the way in their volunteering journey and ensures participants find a role that is rewarding and enjoyable.
There is no cost to participate in the Program.
