The National Standards for Volunteer Involvement are a national best practice guide for volunteer involvement.

With the release of the refreshed Standards in February 2024, this four-hour workshop will assist your organisation to prepare for the implementation of the National Standards, as well as understand what has changed under the new Standards. You will begin to unpack the changes that will be needed for your organisation to meet the requirements of the National Standards and begin the process of reviewing your  organisations  performance using the Gap Analysis Tool.

Outcomes

By the end of this session, you will:

• build a comprehensive knowledge of the National Standards for Volunteer Involvement;
• identify room for improvement in your own organisational setting;
• understand how to address gaps in your organisation; and,
• be equipped with the tools to assess and improve volunteer involvement.

All attendees will be provided with a hard copy of the National Standards Implementation Guide and Workbook, as well as key tools and resources.

Parking: Canberra Centre has parking available on the rooftop for $15 a day, alternatively the venue is located very close to the tram stop and bus station if you wish to take public transport.
